Note Pads

Hello All,

Thank you for stopping by.  Today, we are snowed in for the 4th straight day!!!  I am loving it.  It's nice getting things done with my crafts and around the house!  Yesterday, I tried the note pad projects from Nicole Heady's website.  I do not have the stamp set, so I got real creative and used the computer to write out the words "take note" and then punched it out with a circle punch!  See, it's that easy!!!  I really liked doing this one.   I am going to make a few more just for the fun of it!  The photo show it opened.  Check out the pencil/pen holder!  That came from Nicole Heady as well.  She is sooooooo creative!

Baby Gift Ideas

Hello, thank you for stopping by.  As promised, here are pictures of the projects I have been working on over the weekend.    Here is the "bouquet of flowers" made from onsies!!!  I must say, this is NOT my original idea.  I search the internet for "unique" baby shower gifts and I came across an adorable onsie flower bouquet!  I said, "I HAVE to try that!!!!"  I am very happy with the way it came out.  I used some silk flowers and leaves to make it come alive. ( check out the butterfly!!) There is filler in the bottom as well.  All of it is sitting in a clear paint can.  I thought mom would be able to use it as a barrette can or something when baby gets bigger.

Now the diaper cake!  It is made up of.... (drumroll) diapers!!!!! (LOL).  I do have some receiving blankets in the middle as the anchor.
I used rubber bands and ribbon to hold it all together.  These are soooo much fun to make.  I love when someone is pregnant, I don't even have to know them and I am ready to make them a diaper cake!  Isn't that funny??  These two beauties are for my neighbor who just gave birth Friday night!  Timely, wouldn't you say?!  If I can get out in about 3ft of snow, I will take it to her (right next door, literally) tomorrow before the NEXT snow storm hits tomorrow night!  Again, thank you for stopping by.

It's been a while......

Hello All,
Thank you for stopping by.  I have been gone for some months and in that time ALOT has happened!  I actually forgot how to log into my blog, yeah, I really did!  I have 3 different email accounts and I could not understand for the life of me why I was unable to get on and post.  Well, I figured it out!  Use the right email address you genius. :)

Let's see, I did just do 2 projects. I did take pictures but I haven't saved them yet to a folder on my computer.  I will post them tomorrow.

I am just sooooo excited to be able to post on here.  I was going crazy!!!!  I was about ready to get another site started!  I have a friend of mine from the Navy working it now.  I'll have to let him know to nix that idea now!

Now that I am "back on line"  I will give my best effort to post a project once a week.  That may or may not happen, but I plan to do my best!!!! ( Please bare with me!)
